Parachute’s Black Friday Sale Is Its Best Ever

Black Friday is a reliably good time to find discounts on both mattresses and bedding, and Parachute’s sale is no exception. The brand is one of our favorites for linens, including waffled bathrobes, cotton quilts, earth-tone duvet covers, poufy pillows, and sheet sets. And this year, excitingly, all those things are on sale during Parachute’s best sale ever.

Today through December 2, everything is 30 percent off at Parachute, including the clearance section, which means already-on-sale things are up to 75 percent off. There are also flash deals, another first from the brand. So, if you’ve been on the fence about upgrading your bedding, now’s the time to buy. If you need a bit of guidance, we’ve pulled out all of our favorite Parachute items below. Things have already started to sell out, though, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so don’t wait till the last minute to buy.

Parachute’s percale sheets feel “ultrasmooth with a washed quality that manages to feel crisp and clean even up until laundry day,” according to our senior editor, Simone Kitchens.

$162

Soon, flannel sheets will be an absolute necessity, so might as well buy them on sale.

Parachute makes our all-around-favorite linen sheets that several Strategist staffers — including myself — sleep on regularly. (One of our editors likes them so much she ditched all of her other sheets.)

If you just want a little bit of linen, try this duvet cover. Like the sheets above, it’s available in eight colors.

Parachute’s plush bathrobe is one of the most recommended bathrobes on the Strategist to date. Favored by yoga instructors, entrepreneurs, and our readers alike, the Turkish-cotton robe isn’t the thickest, yet it still feels warm (and would make an excellent gift for the mom who has everything).

Designed to match the classic bathrobe mentioned above, these highly giftable slippers use the same plush terry fabric and have rubber soles — so you don’t slip.

Parachute Cloud Cotton Robe

For an even lighter robe, try the Cloud Cotton. It’s supersoft and light enough to wear even during the warmer months.

From $10

All Turkish towels are half off for today’s flash deal. Chris Black told us he uses these: “I particularly like these from Parachute — in white. Any other shade seems distracting and childish.”

Parachute Waffle Towels

From $20

Home stager Meridith Baer describes the honeycomb weave of these waffle towels as “fast drying and very soft.”

From $13

I also quite like this striped option!

I got Parachute’s Cloud Cotton quilt earlier this year and am officially a convert. It’s lightweight enough for the summer months — I hate sleeping under just a top sheet — but retains a lot of heat once temperatures dip. Plus it’s machine washable in normal-size washing machines; no trip to the laundromat needed.

Parachute Down Pillow
From $91

Parachute’s down pillows are our top-choice pillows for back sleepers.

From $112

The side-sleeper pillow owes its plushness to its 750-fill-power European white down, which gives it high loft and medium density to cradle your head and neck comfortably. The 3.5-inch gusset helps it maintain its rectangular prism shape.

We’ve been singing the praises of this down-alternative mattress topper since 2017. Sleep writer Amelia Jerden describes it as having a light, airy, and cool feel that she prefers to memory foam, and all these years later, it remains a favorite among our readers who are looking for a supersoft night of sleep.

Kitchens also loves this comforter, calling it the best one she’s ever owned. “I wanted something super-lofty,” she says. “Two years later, it’s as fluffy as when I first unfurled it. And it truly works year-round, keeping me warm in the winter and perfectly comfortable in the warmer months.”

Here’s a hypoallergenic, microfiber-filled, down-alternative body pillow that offers cushiony, medium-plush support.

$1,680

When former Strategist senior editor Margaret Rhodes, who’s a stomach-to-side sleeper, tested this all-springs, zero-foam mattress, she noted its handsome tufted cover, soft but supportive feel, and non-heat-trapping coils. “It’s positioned as a luxury-hotel-style mattress, and it really feels like one,” she says. It’s rare to find this mattress discounted, so if you’ve been considering it, now is definitely the time to buy.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
